I wanted Perky Post's logo to be modern, minimalistic, and highly versatile.

I used two shades of blue which represented security and reliability.

I chose the running man icon to emphasise speed and perseverance.

Slogan

Perky Post required a slogan which would inspire whilst being recognisable and memorable.

I chose the slogan:

"Delivering Your Future"

No matter what service my clients needed, we would deliver it, helping to build their future.

A4 PerkyPoster Flyers

I created and designed the Perky Poster A4 advertisement for businesses to get seen in their local area each month.

The flyer allowed 4 non-competing businesses to advertise their products and services.

I focused on their briefs and designed all of their advertisements.

I also advertised the Perky Poster across social media to gather additional views and enquiries.

Client Flyers

I designed client's flyers as an additional design service for Perky Post.

I created flyers for various businesses in different industries including; healthcare, beauty, gardening, landscaping, roofing, home care, travel, property, engineering, catering, and cleaning.

Whilst designing client's flyers I stayed in-line with their design brief and stayed on-brand at all times whilst focusing on one key message at a time.

I also included a call-to-action whilst

keeping the client's target audience in mind.

Business Cards

I designed business cards for Perky Post's clients.

I listened to client's needs and followed a design brief to ensure their business cards remained on-brand; making them truly memorable.

I was regularly asked to create logos for new start-up ventures and update existing logos with a fresher modern feel.

I listened to what my client's needed and created design briefs.

I offered unlimited revisions until my clients were fully satisfied with their new logo.

Digital Marketing

Goals and Objectives

Perky Post's Short Term Business Goals

- Achieve 20 regular door to door clients within 2 months leading to monthly revenue of between £5,000.00 - £20,000.00

- Build a social media community which actively engages with its content.

- To convert prospects to clients through digital channels.

My Digital Strategy

- Build an on-brand social media presence utilising Facebook and Instagram.

- Create a user-friendly website which converts.

- Create paid advertisements on social media and search engines which convert.

- Create engaging photo and video content.

- Build an online community of marketing enthusiasts.

- Use effective PR through digital channels to build brand awareness.

- Acquire 5 star reviews to build customer trust.

- Create engaging blog posts which inform and educate.

Facebook Banners

I used the Facebook banners to show off Perky Post's services and the team behind the business whilst staying on-brand.

I also took the opportunity to show that Perky Post were taking part in positive events such as running half marathons; raising money for Katharine House Hospice charity.

Facebook Strategy

I wanted to use Facebook for two reasons:

- To engage with our audience

- To build trust

I wanted Perky Post to act as a voice and be a leader within the door to door marketing industry; utilising digital platforms to educate, inform, and update our online community.

I built our Facebook strategy around designing inspirational and relatable content; our audience could really engage with us.

Educate

By writing blog content and sharing posts on Perky Post's Facebook page I educated our target audience about the misconceptions the general public may have had about the leaflet distribution industry.

I was able to challenge these perceptions around topics such as the environmental impact of leaflets as well as the overall impact a targeted door to door leaflet campaign can have for businesses.

Inform

I was able to use Perky Post's Facebook page to inform our audience of our clients positive reviews.

I created custom links to the reviews which could be measured as well as brand-focused images to gather our audiences attention.

Update

I was able to use Perky Post's Facebook page to update our audience and clients when changes took place such as a change of premises.

Using clear and concise images our audience could easily see where to drop their leaflets off for their door to door deliveries.

Promotions

I used Facebook to show Perky Post's available door to door promotions.

With permission from Perky Post's existing clients I was able to show which reputable brands we were working with.

Competitions

I created content to promote Perky Post's Facebook competitions.

I targeted SMEs which could do with a "marketing boost".

The competitions received a high amount of engagement in terms of views, shares, and user-participation.

Services

I regularly created Facebook content showing why businesses should use Perky Post's marketing services; focusing on, reliability, professionalism, and trust.

Videography

Videos are powerful and I wanted to show off Perky Post's use of technology to their audience.

I turned the footage from Perky Post's door to door person's cameras into promotional material which showed exactly how reliable their delivery service was.

I edited the clips and added on-brand background music with clear subtitles whilst ensuring the videos were fully formatted and optimised for their website and social media channels.

This video performed better than expected; receiving countless shares and thousands of views on social media whilst generating leads for bookings.

Digital

PR

Charity Focused

One of my objectives was to build a positive brand image for Perky Post.

I reached out to Katharine House Hospice to see if there was anything my company could do for them.

Katharine House Hospice required a new flyer design for their charity dance competition and targeted door to door flyer distribution for 10,000 of these printed flyers.

I created a bespoke design for Katharine House's flyers using eye-catching fonts and colours

I then used my door to door team to deliver these flyers door to door in targeted areas.

I did not charge Katharine House Hospice for any of our work, only asking for positive publicity for Perky Post.

I shared our hard work through guest blogging on selected websites as well as on our own blog. I also shared our work through our own social media channels.

Media outlets created articles about our work; sharing it on their websites and social channels as well as featuring us in their newspapers.

Logo

Everything starts with a logo and Fabulous Cleaners needed something that stood out and resonated with their target audience.

I chose the two blue colours as they represent peace, security, and reliability.

I then designed Fabulous Cleaner's uniforms and vehicles keeping them fully on-brand.

Slogan

Fabulous Cleaners needed a catchy slogan which their audience would resonate with.

I chose the slogan:

"Making Life Easier"

This slogan said it plain and simple; Fabulous Cleaners will make people's lives easier.

Uniform Branding

I designed Fabulous Cleaner's uniforms keeping them on-brand.

I focused on the core customer contact points such as Fabulous Cleaner's phone number and website.

Vehicle Branding

I designed Fabulous Cleaner's vehicles keeping them on-brand with the two shades of blue and the white background.

I focused on Fabulous Cleaner's minimalistic style and core customer contact points.

A3 Tri-Fold Leaflets

I designed and created a tri-fold leaflet for Fabulous Cleaners.

The leaflet incorporated their slogan "Making Life Easier" combined with their brand colours to give a cool and relaxing feel.

The flyers were delivered to over 100,000 residents via Royal Mail and delivered a x3 return on investment over a 6 month period.

A5 Customer Slips

I designed Fabulous Cleaner's customer slips to showcase their additional services to their existing customers.

I ensured that their customer slips remained on-brand by keeping the fonts, colours, and style in-line with the Fabulous brand.

Wheelie Bin Stickers

I designed Fabulous Cleaner's wheelie bin stickers which were placed onto their existing customer's wheelie bins.

I ensured that their wheelie bin stickers turned heads by introducing a smiling wheelie bin cartoon.

I also added a QR code to the sticker which allowed prospects to submit their details and book their wheelie bin cleans on Fabulous Cleaner's website.

The QR code also allowed me to track additional data such as website visits and uncompleted and completed bookings.

Facebook Strategy

Fabulous Cleaners not only offered eco-friendly exterior cleaning solutions but aimed to act as a voice and utilise their digital platforms to educate their online community. keeping the environment clean.

With this in mind, my Facebook digital marketing strategy focused on 4 core pillars; creating educational, inspirational, promotional, and relatable content that Fabulous Cleaner's audience could really engage with.

Relatable Content

25%

Educational Content

25%

Promotional Content

25%

Inspirational Content

25%

Facebook Set-up

66% of the UK population are on Facebook (44.84 are active users).

Therefore, it was important to make sure Fabulous Cleaner's Facebook focused on:

- Remaining on-brand at all times.

- All digital touch-points were necessary and effective.

- Add a unique page URL for SEO purposes.

- Ensuring Fabulous Cleaners looked reputable and an industry leader in their market.

- Fully completing all description sections and ensuring all links were actively tracking stats.

- Add a call-to-action button: WhatsApp.

- Add upcoming events in the "Create New Event" section to build their online audience.

- Assigning page roles to Fabulous Cleaner's team.

- Ensuring page visibility was set to "public".

Active on Facebook

Facebook Banner

I used the association member icons in the Facebook banner to show Fabulous Cleaner's dedication to staying up to date with the regulations within the cleaning industry; pushing their professionalism to the next level.

Showing two of Fabulous Cleaner's cleaning vehicles in the banner section also showed that they weren't just a one-man operation, but instead pointing towards a more slightly larger, reputable company.

Eye-catching Social Content

Focusing on promotional content; I decided to use powerful before and after images across social media.

The power of two images combined with an automated slider really showed off Fabulous Cleaner's cleaning results.

The results? I increased their engagement by 250% and by 63% in clicks.

Customer Reviews

Focusing on relatable content I decided to ask a selection of Fabulous Cleaner's customers if they would like to review the cleaning services they had received.

I decided to capture this by using two formats;-

- By taking photos of the customer and by taking before and after shots of the work.

- By filming a quick 30 second unscripted video.

I then pushed this content out across Facebook both organically and by using paid advertisements.

I found that Fabulous Cleaner's audience engaged with this content the most out of all of the 4 pillars.

Organic customer review videos received up to 6 times more views compared to standard posts.

Facebook Reviews

Written Facebook reviews are powerful. As part of Fabulous Cleaner's overall marketing strategy I created customer review slips which were left with Fabulous Cleaner's customers after every window clean.

The flyers encouraged Fabulous Cleaner's customers to leave a positive Facebook review in exchange for a discount on their next window clean, it worked a treat.

Facebook reviews increased by over 300% and I had the opportunity to share these reviews across social media in a post like this one; win win!

Paid Ads on Social Media

Designing and measuring Facebook and Instagram adverts that "work" requires time and effort.

I used A/B test structuring to quickly narrow down what ads resonated with Fabulous Cleaner's audience.

These highly targeted ads focused on Fabulous Cleaner's target audience's location, behaviours, and interests.

I was able to achieve a £0.0148 cost per post engagement; leading to a x6 return on investment.

Instagram Content

By taking before and after photos of each clean and professionally editing them I was able to show Fabulous Cleaner's audience just how good their cleans were.

I also combined different facts and nuggets of knowledge into the copy; helping to build authority and trust. This showed Fabulous Cleaner's audience that they were a true leader within their market sector and a company which they could trust.

Website

Building an effective website for Fabulous Cleaners was one of my top priorities when focusing on their digital strategy.

In order to achieve a successful project, Fabulous Cleaner's Website needed to:

- Have a user-friendly site structure

- Be built with SEO in mind

- Have relevant digital touch-points

- Have intelligent chat bots

- Contain easy to navigate forms

- Have booking forms that convert

The finished website allowed me to easily track analytics and conversions.

Online Reviews

93% of users say online reviews have an impact on their buying decisions (explodingtopics.com).

I decided that review sites such as Yell.com would be utilised in Fabulous Cleaner's digital customer acquisition strategy.

New customers would frequently mention that they "saw the positive online reviews on Yell.com" and that's one of the reasons they got in contact.

Videography

I used the power of video to showcase Fabulous Cleaner's exceptional cleans and their efforts to support their community.

I created the scripts, filmed the videos, and edited the clips; adding on-brand background music and clear subtitles whilst ensuring the videos were fully formatted and optimised for their website and social media channels.

These videos gathered tens of thousands of views, received countless shares, and positive comments.

Social Impact

Focusing on educational and inspirational content I decided to create content especially for Fabulous Cleaner's core target audience.

I built up a "buzz" around community clean-ups; teaching and inspiring the community about the benefits of cleaning and improving mental health.

I initiated many voluntary clean-ups in towns and cities throughout the UK. Fabulous Cleaner's audience were shouting about this from the rooftops; sharing the content in-person and across most social channels.

I shared this content through channels such as social media, blog posts, and newspaper articles both online and in print.
